It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that we present the inaugural issue of the Science & Technology Nexus (STN) journal, a new platform that brings to life our shared vision for interdisciplinary innovation. This journal emerges as an outreach of Saxony Egypt University for Applied Science and Technology (SEU), Egypt, aimed at bridging the silos that often constrain scientific progress.
Today, more than ever, the world demands integrated solutions to complex challenges—from climate change and food security to sustainable medicine and smart technologies. The Science & Technology Nexus journal rises to this call, embracing a wide spectrum of disciplines and welcoming contributions that traverse traditional academic boundaries. Whether from the fields of natural sciences, engineering, medicine, agriculture, or beyond, our pages are open to research that blends knowledge, sparks innovation, and offers real-world impact.
What distinguishes STN is not only the breadth of its coverage but its intentional focus on the intersection of science and technology. It is not merely a multidisciplinary journal, but an interdisciplinary hub—where insights collide and new ideas are inborn. Backed by a distinguished editorial board of international scholars and a commitment to open access, rapid peer review, and scientific excellence, STN is poised to become a leading voice in the global research community.
We dedicate this first issue to the researchers, reviewers, and institutional supporters who believed in this vision from the start. Your dedication is the foundation of what we hope will be a long-lasting contribution to the scientific world. This inaugural issue marks not only the beginning of a publication but the start of a movement—a space where innovation thrives at the intersection of ideas. We thank our authors, reviewers, and institutional partners for believing in this mission.
Welcome to the nexus of science and technology, and let this be the beginning of a journey—towards deeper connections, bolder research, and a true nexus of ideas.
Looking forward to all future submissions from our current readers and future authors.
